In general, what do you hope to get out of this grant program?
I hope to achieve a deeper understanding about American history that I was never taught. I am interested in learning more also introducing aspects of American history to my class.

What are you most proud of in your professional life so far?
I am proud of completing two master’s degrees and being a part of the history grant program.
What are your greatest strengths and your biggest weaknesses as an educator?
Greatest Strengths – Making each topic I introduce to my students relatable. Teaching how to connect the subject to their lives.
Weakness – Focus on being more organized.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I crochet hats, blankets, etc.
Spend time with family.
I bake and cook.
