Expanding my knowledge base of precolonial and colonial America, procuring primary sources.

Helping students make connections between the past and present, especially as students expand their horizons and question their preconceived notions.

What are your greatest strengths and your biggest weaknesses as an educator?

Strengths: Patience, ability to make outside connections, storytelling.

Weaknesses: Boiling things down to essentials, organization.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Weightlifting/Crossfit, acting at Sumter Little Theatre, movies/documentaries, sports of all kinds.
